Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan paid a visit to former state finance minister Raghavji at his residence in Vidisha.
Raghavji, 90, was expelled from the BJP in 2013 after an FIR was registered against him on charges of “unnatural offence” with his former male domestic help. However, in June this year, the Madhya Pradesh High Court quashed the FIR, stating that it was filed with "malicious" intentions.
During his visit, Chouhan met Raghavji and his family members. The minister was later reported as saying that no political talks took place during the meeting.
The complaint against Raghavji was filed by his domestic help on July 7, 2013, based on a CD that purportedly showed him in compromising positions.
